What exactly are Shower Steamers and how do I use them?
It's a bath bomb but for your shower! Shower Steamers go in the shower, near the water spray, but not in the direct flow of water. Create your own little sauna experience!
How do you use a Shower Steamer?
To get the most out of your shower steamer, allow the water spray but not a full shower stream to reach the steamer. If possible, keep the steamer off the shower floor. Place on a shelf and sprinkle some water on top. The shower steam will help carry refreshing scents into the air so that you can enjoy!
How long does one Shower Steamer puck last?
Our Shower Steamer pucks are designed to be used one per shower, but you may find they last several showers. It all depends on how close the water is, and how longer the shower.
What are Shower Steamer made of?
Simple, clean ingredients made in small batches. Made with 100% essential oil blends, sodium bicarbonate, food grade citric acid and distilled water. No colors, no flowers. As much as we'd love to dress them up, we know it's not good for your plumbing!
I like these, but I'd like them to be stronger.
Have we got something for you! If you find a blend or a scent that you really like, you can add a few drops of essential oil directly to the steamer in the shower before use. You may add your own essential oils, or add a little extra something to your cart. These blends are the same oils used to make the Shower Steamers, so you know they will match! You can also double up on your pucks.
Can I use these in the bath?
Sorry, Shower Steamers are not recommended for bath use. They are made with more essential oils than should have direct skin contact for a long period of time. Oils float to the top of the water surface after time and are more likely to get onto body parts where you really do not want them to be!
What's the shelf life of Shower Steamers?
Shower Steamers are best when used within 3-6 months. While they do not necessarily expire, they do not contain a preservative. Essential oils will also fade in strength after a time.
